The Seven Islands
The Izu Shichito Islands are located off of the mainland of Japan and have a mild climate that makes it pefect for water sports. The islands are part of the Fuji-Hakone-Izu National Park, which means that these islands have incredible views of the ocean, mountains, and have an abundance of plants and animals.
Techincally part of Tokyo, the Shichito Islands feel a world away. The islands boast beautiful camelllias, hydrangeas, and azaleas, subtropical scenery, and amazing ocean views. The islands are volanic, which also means that there are many onsen and hot spring resorts next to the ocean. These resort areas are great for dolphin watching, fishing, surfing diving, and all kinds of boating.
