About Aichi
Aichi prefecture is located in the Chubu region of Japan, with the capital being Nagoya. Aichi serves as the center for many businesses and politics, and therefore generates much traffic going in and out of the area. Some big businesses that have their headquarters based there are companies like Toyota. Although Aichi is a business prefecture, there are also lovely areas that are great for enjoying the outdoors as well as Japanese culture through sightseeing spots. Aichi even has a sandy beach spot to relax at, somewhat rare for the main island of Japan.

For those who enjoy things related to automobiles, this museum is a recommended spot to visit in Aichi. Not only can you see old styles of cars on display, you will also get a glimpse into the history of Toyota as a company.
---Inuyama Castle---
Inuyama Castle is located in Inuyama of the Aichi prefecture. Being one of the twelve original castles left in Japan, this castle holds a lot of histrocial and cultural significance. The castle overlooks the Kiso River that visitors can view as well. Inuyama Castle also has the Sanko Inari Shrine that has multiple red torii gates one after another.
What To Eat
---Miso Nikomi Udon---
Miso Nikomi Udon is a noodle dish where the udon noodles are stewed into a broth made from the famous Aichi red miso. Vegetables and egg are added into it to make a delicious, warm meal.
---Hitsumabushi---
Hitsumabushi is an eel dish where cut up teriyaki eel are topped over rice. What makes this dish special is that there are three steps to the entire meal and how to enjoy it. One of the steps include using the remnants of your dish and mixing it with a tea and dashi broth to make a soup. This meal is sure to be satisfying.
