About Ibaraki
Ibaraki Prefecture is part of the Kanto region of Japan. Previously known as Hitachi Province, in 1871 it became known as Ibaraki. Ibaraki has some beautiful natural landscapes and is home to some national parks and many lakes.

---Fukuroda Falls---
A pretty waterfall in Ibaraki, for those who enjoy the look of a wide waterfall, this is a neat place to go to.
---Hitachi Seaside Park---
Hitachi Seaside Park is a must go destination when in Ibaraki. Home to some of the most beautiful flowers. They have seasonal flowers, so regardless of the time of year, you are generally guaranteed to see some beautiful plants. Barbeques can also be held at the park, while being surrounded by bursts of color.
What To Eat
---Mito Natto---
Mitto Natto is basically regular natto but since Mito is the reason for natto being mass produced and widely available, Mito, Ibaraki is associated with natto. Natto is fermented soybeans that have a sticky texture and a distinct smell and is said to be an acquired taste, but is worth trying if only for the experience.
