The only place to see a dugong that is not in the wild!
Home to the largest number of species of marine life in Japan is the Toba Aquarium, just across from the Toba Bay waterfront. There are twelve zones within the complex, each reproducing a different natural environment. This aquarium is also the only aquarium in the world with a dugong, also known as a sea cow.
