Kagoshima, Japan Oct. 11 Fri 1:46AM
Not a lot of people think Japan is a beach destination. However Japan has quite a few beach spots, not including the famous beaches of Okinawa!
One of these beaches is located in Kagoshima in Kyushu, Japan. What makes this beach so special is that it's not always around. The beach only shows up with the tides and is only there sometime between spring and fall. This makes it a great spot to visit during the summer! The white sand and clear ocean water makes it a ideal and gorgeous site. The sand is actually made up of tiny stars from coral! The beach is actually off the coast of Yoron Island, and is only accessible by boat. To get there, you need to reserve in advance.
