Nomizo Waterfall known as Nomizo no Taki is a beautiful waterfall in Japan. The serene ambience of the location is atmospheric and it's a spot that's hidden and a bit off-the-beaten path.
Located in Kimitsu of the Chiba Prefecture, you can find the Nomizo waterfall after taking a short trail to a cave entrance where the waterfall flows through.
The Kameiwa cave is actually man-made, created 350 years ago as an agricultural project to make sure water flowed to a rice field.
Although this site is perfect to see almost any time of the year, April to about September are recommended times to go. Summer is particularily nice as the cool water from the waterfall and river makes a nice reprieve from the heat.
Although the waterfall isn't the tallest, the surroundings and the way the waterfall is positioned makes it a beauitful spot to take a photo to upload to your social media. In fact, this site gained popularity because of a photo taken where the reflection of the cave entrance combined with the actual cave entrance formed a heart-shape. If timed-right, other visitors can get that heart-shape photo too! The recommended times to try and get that photo is between 6 to 8 in the morning close the the equinoxes.
