Kanazawa has three chaya districts with Nishi Chaya District being the closest to the hotel. The chaya districts are historically where geishas entertained clients with song and dance performances. Nishi Chaya is smaller than the popular Higashi Chayagai of Kanazawa, but allows you to get a sense of a traditional chaya and a traditional Japan. To note is that the Higashi Chaya is also near to the hotel but in the opposite direction as Nishi Chaya.
