Yokohama Beer
Enjoy a cold glass of craft beer in Yokohama, where Japan’s first brewery was established. Yokohama was one of the few ports that opened for trade with Western countries in June 1858 when the Treaty of Amity and Commerce between the US and Japan was signed. Yokohama Beer, which began brewing in 1869, has inherited its history and traditions and has won numerous beer cup awards.
The restaurant "Umayano-Shokutaku", where you can enjoy various dishes that tell the history of Yokohama, also has a beer bar where you can enjoy freshly brewed Yokohama beer. Be sure to try these enticing beers, each brewed with passion, as you watch the baseball games or cheer for the marathon runners.
