Enjoying Summer in Japan in the Sports City of Yokohama
Yokohama Stadium is Japan’s first multipurpose stadium which served as the venue where Babe Ruth led the American League All-Stars to play a Japan-U.S. international game in 1934. It hosts a variety of sports including American football, softball, and soccer, and is home to Japan’s professional baseball team, the Yokohama DeNA BayStars. The stadium is also the former home of pitcher Shota Imanaga, who currently thrives with the Chicago Cubs. Home games are filled with vibrant energy, showcasing Japan’s unique baseball cheering style.

The stadium’s food offerings highlight local flavors, featuring authentic Chinese cuisine and the team’s original craft beer. A must-try is the "BayKara," a crispy and juicy fried chicken exclusive to the stadium, which is so popular it attracts long lines daily. Enjoy it as a snack while watching the game!

Additionally, the ‘DREAM GATE CATCHBALL’ event allows fans to play catch on the stadium field for free. Whether cheering for the players or sweating it out on the field yourself, create wonderful memories at Yokohama Stadium.
